<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka 10,913 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday taking the tally to 6,90,269.&nbsp; At the same time 9,091 people recovered and were discharged from various hospitals in the State.&nbsp; So far 5,61,619 people have recovered from the disease. &nbsp;1,18,851 active patients are taking treatment in various hospitals across the State among them 873 are in ICU. &nbsp;114 covid patients lost their life and the total fatalities have gone up to 9,789. The State conducted 1,09,980 covid tests yesterday and the total number of tests have gone up to 57,39,530.&nbsp; Among the new cases Bengaluru reported with 5,009, followed by Mysuru 826, Hassan 489, Davangere 450 and Chitradurga &nbsp;with 418.<br />''<br />''In view of the Covid pandemic the world famous Mysuru Dasara festival will be celebrated with all precautions from October 17 to 26. &nbsp; Public will not be allowed and the celebrations will be virtual for them. The opening and Jamboo savari on the 10th day will be celebrated in a simple manner with all precautions. Cultural programmes in the evening for 8 days shall be limited to two hours per day by local artists and audience not exceeding 50 people. During jamboo savari only 300 persons will be allowed with all Covid precaution.&nbsp; It can be noted that Mysuru district &nbsp;has the highest Covid case load after Bengaluru with 7467 active cases.</span><br />
