In Karnataka, Covid 19 cases remain at peak level with 5,483 new cases and 84 deaths reported on Friday. With this the total number of positive cases have climbed to 1,24,115 and deaths to 2,314 across the state.  However, the number of Covid patients discharged after recovery is showing steady improvement. A total of 3,130 persons were discharged today taking the total number of discharged patients to 49,788.<br />'' <br />''The state recovery rate is 40.14 percent. Vijayapura and Yadgiri are however recording a better recovery rate of over 70 percent.
