The Opposition Congress in Karnataka today took out a bike rally in the city to protest the alleged failure of the BJP-led state government on all fronts. <br/><br/>Scores of Congress workers led by their leaders, including KPCC president R V Deshpande, leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly Siddaramaiah, shouted slogans and raised banners against the Yeddyurappa government. <br/><br/>Mr. Deshpande told reporters in Bangalore that the state is in a mess and the government has failed to provide housing to the poor, ensure adequate flood relief measures and empower backward communities. Several Congress workers, including Deshpande and Siddaramaiah, were later detained by the police.
