The Leader of the Opposition in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah has made serious allegation that BJP is indulging in horse trading to save its Government. Speaking after the Legislative Party meeting in Bangaluru today, he alleged that Congress MLAs are getting phone calls from BJP leaders with a promise of a purse and a berth in the Cabinet if they resign and join their party. He informed that the phone calls are recorded and will be submitted to the Governor. He also said that his party will take up protests if the horse trading does not stop. He said the proposal of cabinet expansion by the Government is unjust as the court order is yet to decide on the fate of 16 disqualified MLAs.
