In Karnataka, another suspected terrorist was arrested by Central Crime Branch . The Bangalore City Police Commissioner Jyoti Prakash Mirji informed today that the arrested was trying to flee city yesterday night when he was picked up from Majestic area. Preliminary enquiries have revealed that he belonged to Nanded in Maharashtra. A 7.65 mm pistol, 15 cartridges and a few incriminating material were seized from him. The Commissioner informed that the 22 year old youth arrested yesterday had worked in Saudi Arabia for a year as a driver. The Central Crime Branch had arrested 11 people from Bangalore and Hubli a few days back. Based on the information given by them, a suspect was arrested from Hyderabad and four from Nanded. The person arrested yesterday is said to belong to same terror module conspiring to target a few politicians, journalists and heads of religious organisations. The total number of suspected terrorists arrested till now has gone up to 17, including the four arrested by Maharashtra ATS.
