<span style="color: #222222;">The Karnataka regional office of NABARD and State Bank of India have signed an MoU to extend concessional refinance facility to the beneficiaries of watershed development and tribal development projects. The Chairman and Managing Director of NABARD Niraj Kumar Verma and Chief General Manager of State Bank of India Abhijit Majumdar signed the MoU in Bengaluru today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The MoU aims to benefit 45000 beneficiaries from 260 Farmers Producers Organisations in 28 districts. In addition 8500 beneficiaries from Self Help groups and Joint Liability Groups will be covered. As on October 1st this year, 3,02,614 Self Help groups have been digitized and 2,81,755 of them are credit linked under E-Shakti project launched in 29 districts of Karnataka. The MoU signed today will enable SBI to act as an implementing agency for digitilising the Self Help Groups and uploading data on E-Shakti portal across the state. Each rural and Semi-urban branches of SBI will finance 50 Joint Liability Groups and Self Help Groups annually.</span>
