<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka, the Minister for Urban development, B A Basavaraj has launched the 'service at the doorstep' facility for the citizens. Under this facility, the urban local bodies will deliver birth or death certificates and collect property tax at the doorstep of citizens. The programme is launched in Davangere Municipal Corporation and will be extended to other urban local bodies.  </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that he has appealed to the Chief Minister to sanction one crore rupees to each municipal ward in Davangere for its comprehensive development. Launching the one lakh sapling planting drive in Davangere today, the minister said that the city will get a green cover similar to the one that exists in Mysuru.</span><br />
