<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Industries Jagadish Shetter, inaugurates the second unit  of Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory in Hubballi today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking to media  after the inauguration and inspection of the facilities, Shettar said that in addition to the second unit, government  have another laboratory at Dharwad Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (DIMHANS) and there is a private laboratory, NMR Scan Centre, permitted to conduct tests. The Minister said that the upgrade had been taken up with funds from the Department of Medical Education and assistance under NDRF. The Minister said that all the laboratories had been set up as per ICMR guidelines and accordingly tests were being conducted.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile 204 new covid-19 positive cases have been reported in Karnataka and thus taking the total to 7734. In a single day today 348 positive patients were discharged from various hospitals and the total discharge cases increased to 4804. With 8 more deaths the total deaths risen to  102.
