<span style="color: #222222;">The district administrations in Karnataka are making arrangements to transport stranded labourers to their native place of residence. These agriculture and construction workers are stranded in the state since the lock-down was announced on March 24th. They were kept in hostels and shelter homes and provided food, clothing, medical check up and personal care.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A nodal officer is conducting the shifting operation by ensuring the Social distancing and certifying workers that they are free from COVID 19 infection. In Dharwad 133 labourers were transported yesterday under direction from Industries Minister Jagadish Shetter and Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan. In Karwar Labour Minister Shivaram Hebbar made arrangement to transport 70 laborers to their villages in Mundgod. Workers engaged in agriculture and road construction work were transported to their villages from places like Mangaluru and Chickmagalur also.</span><br />''  <br />
