Karnataka Lokayukta orders probe into complaint against Krishna

In Karnataka, a private complaint filed against three former Chief Ministers S M Krishna, Dharam Singh and H D Kumaraswamy and 11 bureaucrats was refered to Lokayuktha Additional Director General of Police by the Lokayuktha Court today for further investigation.

The complainant T J Abraham, a social activist and regional Director of a city based NGO, has sought action against them for causing loss to the state Exchequer by allegedly allowing illegal mining and receiving illegal gratification during their tenure as Chief Minister.

Lokayuktha Special Judge N K Sudhindra Rao refered the complaint to the Lokayuktha police today and asked it to submit its report by sixth of next month. He also asked the petitioner to submit second set of documents related to the case.
