In Karnataka, a private complaint filed against three former Chief Ministers S M Krishna, Dharam Singh and H D Kumaraswamy and 11 bureaucrats was referred to Lokayuktha Additional Director General of Police by the Lokayuktha Court today for further investigation.

The complainant T J Abraham, a social activist and regional Director of a city based NGO, has sought action against them for causing loss to the state Exchequer by allegedly allowing illegal mining and receiving illegal gratification during their tenure as Chief Minister.

Lokayukta Special Judge N K Sudhindra Rao referred the complaint to the Lokayukta police today and asked it to submit its report by sixth of next month. He also asked the petitioner to submit second set of documents related to the case.
