Karnataka legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti has informed that efforts will be made to promote paperless working mechanism while conducting the business in the Upper House in state legislature. He was speaking during a video Conference with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla yesterday. He informed that efforts are on to modernise the functioning of legislative Council so that all the business transactions can happen in digital mode reducing the use of paper.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;He added that e-vidhana software is introduced that has already enabled paperless transactions. All the contents of the Upper House pertaining to the question Hour and papers tabled in the House are now available online. Saying that the state legislative Council has a long history of 114 years, the legislative Council Chairman said that the Rajya Sabha model is now adopted in the state.&nbsp;</span><br />
