Karnataka Legislative Assembly transacts business

The Karnataka Legislative Assembly transacted business with the Opposition benches completely empty. The Congress and five Independent MLAs did not attend the session today. A lone Independent MLA Varthur Prakash who was absent on Thursday during the floor test was present in the House today. The House tabled two Bills on Land Revenue and Minorities Commission. Thereafter, the budget discussion was taken up in the House. In the absence of the Opposition, the calling attention notice was not taken up. In the Legislative Council however the Opposition members from Congress participated in the House.
