In Karnataka, Law Minister Suresh Kumar has resigned owing moral responsibility after allegations surfaced that he illegally received G catagory site in Bangalore. Mr. Suresh Kumar has submitted his resignation letter to the Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda. However, the Chief Minister has refused to accept the resignation and said that Mr. Suresh Kumar will come clean over the charges. Reacting to the development, the Chief Minister Gowda clarified that Mr. Suresh Kumar was allotted another plot of land as the present plot owned by him is acquired for road expansion. He explained that Mr. Suresh Kumar, known for his honesty and integrity, is pained over the allegation and wants thorough investigation into the allegation. The site measuring 4000 square feet was allotted to Mr. Suresh Kumar in 2009 by the then Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.
