<span style="color: #222222;">The Karnataka Labour Minister Shivaram Hebbar has assured labour unions that the working hours of employees will be reverted back to eight hours. Reacting to the appeal made by Unions, the Chief Minister and senior officers have already brought the matter to his notice and  a decision will be taken today to revert to eight hours working cycle as earlier, the Minister Said.<br />'' <br />'' The Government had taken a decision to increase the working hours from eight to 10 hours in May for a period of three months. The All India Central Council of Trade Unions had accused the Government decision to increase the working hours, saying that this will drive workers to bonded labour. It had also pointed out that labourers are already facing hardship due to lockdown and an increase in working hours will not augur well with them.</span><br />''  <br />
