<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Health Department has informed that all the adults above the age of 18 will now be able to get Precautionary dose of COVID vaccine in private vaccination centres. The vaccination will be available to those who have completed nine months or 39 weeks after the second dose of COVID vaccine. The Government Vaccination Centres are catering to Health Care Workers, Front Line Workers and those above the age of 60 years.<br />'' <br />'' Karnataka has administered a total of 10.47 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccines. Out of this, 14 lakh persons have been administered the Precautionary dose. Among the total population eligible for the Precautionary dose, around 57.6 per cent people have been vaccinated. Those above the age of 18 years of age, 4.97 crore were administered the first doses and 4.76 crore the second doses. Thus, 97.4 per cent of the adult population has received both the doses of the vaccine in Karnataka.<br />'' <br />''Among the children in the age group of 12 and 14 years, COVID-19 vaccines were given 13,27,985 first doses. The second dose campaign will begin soon. Among the age group of 15 and 17 years, Karnataka has administered 5,23,05,424 doses which is over 100 per cent coverage of the first dose. In this age group over 95 per cent have received the second dose too.&nbsp;</span><br />
