The Karnataka High Court will commence this afternoon the final hearing on the petition filed by five Independent MLAs challenging their disqualification from the state Assembly. They were disqualified by the Assembly Speaker K G Boppaiah along with 11 BJP MLAs for anti party activities on October 10 just before the first floor test of Yeddyurappa Government. Thereafter, just a day before the second floor test on October 14, the court ruled that the outcome of the trust vote of the B S Yeddyurappa Government would be subject to its final decision on the petition.
