The case of Independent MLAs disqualified by the Karnataka Assembly speaker for anti party activities was taken up again by the Karnataka High Court today.The full Bench comprising of Justice Mohan Shantanagoudar, Justice S. Abdul Nazeer and Justice A.S. Bopanna heard the argument made by Advocate P P Prabhu representing the Independent MLAs. As the hearing continued, the Bench adjourned the case for further hearing to next Monday. The High court resumed hearing the case today after the Supreme Court ruling that allowed additional amendments and charges that were added by the Petitioners in their original suit. The Independent MLAs were disqualified by the Speaker when they submitted to the Governor, the letter of withdrawal of support to the Yeddyurappa government holding him responsible for rampant corruption.
