Karnataka High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in the land de-notification case. Justice L Narayanaswamy rejected the application filed by Yeddyurappa in anticipation of arrest in a private complaint filed by Sirajuddin Basha in de-notification and allotment of land in Bangalore. In another case, the Division Bench of Justice K L Manjunath and Justice H S Kempanna dismissed an application filed by Yeddyurappa's Counsel Ravi B Naik to withdraw the petition seeking quashing of chapter 22 of Lokayukta report on illegal mining.
