Karnataka High Court today rejected the anticipatory bail application of former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on land denotification case. Justice L Narayanaswamy rejected the application filed by Yeddyurappa in anticipation of arrest in a private complaint by Sirajuddin Basha in the Lokayuktha court on denotification and re-allotment of land in Bangalore. AIR correspondent adds that Yeddyurappa is appearing in this case in the Lokayuktha court today afternoon.In another case, filed by Yeddyurappa to quash chapter 22 of the Lokayuktha report on illegal mining, which indicts him for the offence, the advocate for Yeddyurappa, Ravi B Naik made a submission to withdraw the petition in the High Court today. Justice K L Manjunath and Justice H S Kempanna dismissed the submission as not tenable under the provisions of the Constitution. Subsequently, the original petition and the application were dismissed.
