In further relief to former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, the Karnataka High Court on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to him and his family members in two complaints relating to alleged irregularities in de-notification of government lands. Justice H Billappa allowed bail applications moved by Yeddyurappa, his two sons and son-in-law who had apprehended arrest in two private complaints filed against them in the Lokayukta special court.
The court, while granting anticipatory bail, directed them to furnish 2 lakh rupees bond and two sureties for the like sum.
Yeddyurappa had earlier secured bail in two of the five private complaints regarding alleged illegal de-notification of government lands.
