Karnataka HC allows applications filed by five independent MLAs

The Karnataka High Court has allowed the applications filed by five independent MLAs seeking to impaled Speaker K G Bopaiah and Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, in the case challenging their disqualification from the Assembly membership. A bench comprising Justice Mohan Shantanagoudar, Justice S Abdul Nazeer and Justice A S Bopanna also allowed the independent MLAs to amend their petition and application for additional grounds.The High Court also asked the counsel for petitioners to file the consolidated petition today and other side to file objections by the 22nd of this month and posted final hearing to November 29.
