<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka state Government has decided that 8000 task forces will be set up at booth level to survey and identify people vulnerable to the pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa announced this today after reviewing the surge in covid cases in Bengaluru.<br />'' <br />'' It was decided in the meeting to make seven days institutional quarantine compulsory for people coming from Maharashtra and three days for those coming from Chennai and Delhi.<br />'' <br />'' Out of over 7000 cases in the state, 4386 are those who came from Maharashtra and 1340 are their primary contacts.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister informed that Mask day will be observed on Thursday to create awareness about preventing the pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' AIR Correspondent reports, a one kilometer walk will be organised across the state on Thursday to create awareness about prevention of the pandemic.<br />'' <br />'' He said 93 percent of active cases in the state are now asymptomatic.<br />'' <br />'' He noted that mortality rate in the state is 1.2 percent as against the national average of 2.8 percent and recovery rate is 56.5 percent as against national average of 51 percent.<br />'' <br />'' Medical Education minister Dr.K Sudhakar has informed that state Government will fix treatment charges for COVID 19 in private hospitals.<br />'' <br />'' He informed media persons in Bengaluru today that action will be taken against private hospitals charging exhorbitant medical charges for treating COVID patients.<br />''<br />''He also informed that they plan to hold talks with the Central Government to include COVID treatment under medical insurance policy.</span>
