<span style="color: #222222;">In Karnataka  120 new Covid positive cases reported yesterday which includes 65 cases  were returnees from Maharashtra. The total positive cases has risen to 6041 in the State. In a single day yesterday 257 people were discharged from various hospitals in the State. So far 2862 people were discharged from the hospitals.  With three more deaths yesterday,  the total death  risen to 69.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports the Karnataka government has decided to ban online classes for the students  up to 5th standard  in the State. Minister for Primary and Secondary Education S.Suresh Kumar said that online classes should be stopped immediately and it is banned throughout the State.  He, however, said that school management can conduct pre-recorded classes.<br />''<br />''The Minister stressed that schools should not collect additional fees for the online classes.
