It also draws attention to the Disaster management Act that makes it mandatory for the private hospitals to extend treatment to patients without insisting on a Covid report.<br />''<br />''The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara palike Commissioner had asked the jurisdictional police to file FIR against four private hospitals yesterday for failing to allot 50 percent of their hospital beds to the patients recommended by the Government. Since Bengaluru urban district has a high positivity rate, the city corporation has increasing testing and improved tracking of Covid contacts. <br />''<br />''Right now the city has a positivity rate of over 13 percent and mortality rate of 1.4 percent. To monitor Covid 19 patients under home isolation the telemonitoring services are started. Under this, home isolated patients are offered tele counselling services. There are over two lakh 15 thousand persons under active home quarantine in Bengaluru. </span>
