Governor of Karnataka H R Bharadwaj has shot two letters to Chief Minister Yeddyurappa seeking factual report on land scam allegations against him and former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu. In the letter the Governor has mentioned that media reports on land scams give the impression that there is an element of truth in it. He also refers to Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee representation to him, alleging favoritism, nepotism and misuse of official position by the Chief Minister and former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu. In another letter the Governor has asked the Chief Minister to furnish details of all business interests of Ministers Janardhana Reddy, Karunakara Reddy and Sriramulu. The Governor has sought details based on the charges made by former Prime Minister Deve Gowda and media reports that have accused these ministers of serious breach of rule of law and alleged tax evasions.Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Dr G Parameshwar, today strongly supported Karnataka Governor H R Bharadwaj, for seeking details from the Chief Minister. Speaking to newsmen here today Dr Parameshwar said that Governor was well within his domain while seeking details from the Chief Minister on the reported violations of land reforms act while his family purchased revenue lands in different parts of the state.
