In Karnataka, exclusive industrial parks dedicated to women entrepreneurs will be set up in Mysuru, Dharwad, Harohalli and Kalburgi. The Large and Medium Industries minister in the state Murugesh Nirani made this announcement today while participating in the International Women Entrepreneurship Day organised by UBUNTU Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs Association in Bengaluru. <br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that Karnataka will be the first state in the country to set up exclusive industrial parks dedicated to women entrepreneurs. He called upon them to utilise the facility and generate jobs. He pointed out that women entrepreneurs such as Sudha Narayana Murthy of Infosys and Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon in Karnataka are role models for budding women entrepreneurs. He expressed pride over the fact that 20 percent of the enterprises in India are managed by women.<br />
