Karnataka Deputy Chief  Minister holding IT, BT and Science and Technology portfolio has congratulated 14 start ups and one accelerator from the state that were conferred with the National Startup Awards.<br />'' <br />'' He also appreciated the matter that 26 percent of the total applications accepted are from Karnataka.<br />'' <br />'' Out of 1641 applications accepted for the award, the highest number of 418 applications submitted were from Karnataka.  <br />'' <br />'' He informed that out of 14 start ups awarded, 11 are those incentivised by the state government schemes of ELEVATE and IDEA2POC.<br />'' <br />'' The first ever National Startup Awards was announced by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry yesterday.<br />''
