<span style="color: #222222;">Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C N Ashwatha Narayana distributed ration kits to the artists working in the Kannada film industry. Speaking during the event today, the minister said that the Kannada film industry is suffering due to the pandemic situation. He said from March 2020, there will be no shooting and screening of films leading to financial crunch among those working in the film industry. Along with ration kits a cheque of one thousand rupees was also handed over to the artists in Bengaluru today. Dr. Narayana has assured that the Government will extend all possible help to the artists who, he added, contribute to the enrichment of our history, culture and language. He said arrangements will be made to vaccinate the film industry artists on priority basis and the film chamber has been asked to submit a list to the government. He also said that housing needs of the artists will also be considered by the Government.</span><br />
