Karnataka reported the highest single day increase of 9,860 new Covid -19 positive cases yesterday taking the tally to 3,61,341. So far 2,60,913 people have recovered from the disease. Six thousand two hundred and eighty seven people were cured and discharged from various hospitals in the State  yesterday.  The recovery rate in the state has  increased to 72.20 percent. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">113 covid patients lost their lives and the total number of fatalities rose to 5,950. The death rate stands at 1.64 percent. At present 94,459 active patients are under treatment and 751 are in ICU. A record 73,317 covid tests were conducted across the State yesterday and the total  number of tests have gone up to 30,52,794.</span><br />
