Karnataka reported 9,140 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, taking the the total number of infections to 4,49,551. On the other hand, 9,557 people were discharged from various hospitals in the State after recovering from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,44,556.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">94 people lost their life due to Covid-19 and the number of fatalities has increased to 7,161. There were as many as 63,583 tests conducted across the state yesterday taking the total so far to 37.14 lakh. 97,815 active patients are taking treatment in various hospitals in the State.</span><br />
