<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka COVID-19 war room has released COVID-19 performance report of October 16th which says that the Case Fatality Rate of the State has come down to 0.9 per cent since the last five days and the positivity rate to 7.4 per cent since the last seven days. The recovery rate stands at 83.4 per cent since the last few days. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Bengaluru with the highest caseload in the state, has managed to reduce the case fatality rate to 0.7 per cent since the last five days and the positivity rate to 7.5 per cent since the last seven days. The recovery rate in the capital city is however at 76.9 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State has conducted a health survey to find out susceptible sections of the population. Out of over 1,68,82,000 households surveyed, over 64,58,712 were found to be at risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It was also found out that 1,81,100 suffered from fever or cough. There were 16,21,618 elderly persons with co-morbidity and 30,239 suffered from ILI or other Covid symptoms. As on date the State has 64,918 containment zones in which 33,978 are active.</span><br />
