Karnataka Cooperative Minister S T Somasekhar will tour the state from January 5th to create awareness on the Farm Acts.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Speaking at an OBC morcha Executive Committee meeting of BJP in Mysuru today, the minister said that awareness will be created among people about the Central Government Farm Acts and the APMC amendment Act passed in the state.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He pointed out that the new Acts passed in the Parliament will provide farmers a choice to sell their produce wherever they want.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He also made an assurance that MSP will continue and APMCs will be functional as it is.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He informed that the Marketing Federation working under the Cooperative department will implement Jan Aushadhi programme in rural areas.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Saying that the state has received Rs. 4750 crore under Atma Nirbhar programme, he informed that this will be used to extend credit to fishermen and dairy farmers at zero to three percent interest.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">A programme is also planned to provide Rs. 600 crore to the cooperative sector.</span><br />
