<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has informed that the State Cabinet today decided to appoint two committees headed by retired Judges to inquire into the corruption allegations made by the State Contractors' Association. The Karnataka State Contractors' Association had written to the Prime Minister's Office that the functionaries in the State Government are demanding 30 per cent cut money to award projects in addition to five to seven percent to clear payments. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">These two committees will scrutinise tender estimates and tender conditions and probe the corruption charges. The Chief Minister informed that the letter to the Prime Minister's Office does not make specific allegations against anyone and after enquiry those responsible will be punished. He pointed out that e-bill will be introduced in the coming days for greater transparency and the departments will be made to release tender orders without any delay to prevent misuse.</span><br />''
