In Karnataka, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has said in a press statement that he will tender his resignation on Sunday. He has cited Ashada month as the reason for choosing the date of resignation. BJP national leaders Rajnath Singh and Arun Jaitley are arriving this afternoon in Bangalore and the Legislative party meeting is scheduled in the evening. AIR correspondent adds that hectic parleys are going on within various splinter groups of the party in Bangalore to decide on the choice of person to succeed Mr.Yeddyurappa.
