The Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa has welcomed the Railway Budget and thanked Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee and Minister of state for Railways K H Muniyappa for meeting most of the demands of the state. <br/><br/>The State representative in Delhi and former Railway minister of state Dhananjaya Kumar welcomed the budget for taking up new railway lines and announcing new trains for the state. <br/><br/>He pointed out budget proposals for state such as 4 Stations considered for Adarsha Category, 6 Multi Functional Complexes, 16 OPD and Diagnostic Centers and four secondary level Specialty Hospitals. President of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries Mr. J. Crasta, welcomed the new Railway Budget 2010-11 presented in the Lok Sabha. <br/><br/>FKCCI observed that most of the requests made by the State Government and FKCCI are fulfilled. Port Connectivity to Karwar is a welcome feature, he said. Ugrappa, the Congress leader termed the budget as pro people and pro development. <br/><br/>The Common man also welcomed the budget for not increasing the fair and giving more importance to safety measures. They also welcomed the women special trains and survey of new railway line between Bangalore, Madikeri and Chamrajnagar.<br/>
