The Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa has written a letter to the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to constitute the Standing Finance Committee for operationalising Classical status to Kannada bestowed on it in October 2008. <br/><br/>He said in his letter that people of Karnataka in general and Kannada Literary personalities in particular are very agitated about the delay in implementing benefits of Classical language status to Kannada language.<br/>
