Karnataka CM meets Governor

The Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa met the Governor Mr. H R Bharadwaj for over 40 minutes today. Speaking to the media persons after the meeting Yeddyurappa said it was a courtesy call and no political motive should be attached to it. He said, the Governor has been invited to address the joint session of Legislature on January 6. The Chief Minister said, he briefed the Governor about developmental programmes taken up by his government and discussed the Krishna Water Tribunal report. Yeddyurappa also said that from now on he will meet the Governor every fortnight to exchange views on political developments and to know the feeling of the Governor. The visit of the Chief Minister follows that of BJP leader Arun Jaitley who met the Governor on Thursday.
