Yediyurappa held a video conference with MLAs and MP of Mysuru, Hassan, Belagavi, Kalburgi and Vijayapura districts today on COVID containment measures.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister has asked the legislators to work towards containing the positivity rate of the pandemic to less than 10 per cent and death rate to 1.7 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He noted that Bengaluru urban, Mysuru, Tumkuru, Hassan and Ballary contribute 60 per cent of the Corona cases in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He impressed upon the legislators the need to drastically carry out testing, tracing and treatment in their constituencies.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He informed that the Government has released Rs. 50 lakh under Legislators Area Development Fund apart from Rs. 50,000 each released to the Gram Panchayats to take up the containment measures.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Reacting to the legislators concern on the shortage of doctors in the districts, the Chief Minister said that a process is initiated to recruit 1,200 doctors for the District Hospitals.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
