Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is holding a day long meeting with Bengaluru based legislators today to discuss measures to contain the pandemic in the city. The city is segregated into eight zones with ministers made incharge of each zone to focus on measures like tracing, tracking, testing and treatment of Covid patients.<br />''<br />''All party legislators based in Bengaluru are attending the meeting along with ministers, officials and police personnel. The day long meeting is called to have a greater coordination with the stakeholders for a concerted effort to contain the corona pandemic.<br />''<br />''In Bengaluru urban district there are 26,746 active cases and has reported 720 deaths. The recovery rate is as low as 21.4 percent and fatality rate is 2.1 percent. After a week-long lockdown, the Bengaluru city has stirred back to normal activities. The check posts and road blocks were removed, Roads are filled with traffic, public transport has resumed and shops and establishments have opened today.<br />''<br />''However, the containment zones remained sealdown. It is decided to continue the night curfew from 9.00 pm to 5.00 am till this month-end. The lockdown on Sundays will also continue. <br />
