Karnataka CM conducts aerial survey of rain & flood affected areas of Belagavi, Dharwad

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa conducted aerial survey of rain and flood affected areas of Belagavi and Dharwad today. Speaking to media persons in Sambra airport in Belagavi he said that a comprehensive assessment of damages and losses due to excessive rain and flood will be done after which he will go to Delhi next week to seek suitable compensation from the Central Government.  <br />''<br />''The Chief Minister said that 44156 people who lost their houses due to the natural calamity in Belagavi have been compensated with 488 crore rupees. The Chief Minister also held a meeting of legislators from Belagavi and Dharwad before taking up the aerial survey. He requested them to work for the people in distress and help the Government to take up relief measures. <br />
