Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has called a meeting to discuss measures to contain the Covid surge in Bengaluru. The meeting to be held this evening is likely to be attended by Health Minister, Home, Education and Revenue ministers along with senior officials. With positivity rate of 2.89 percent the state reported 3082 new Covid cases yesterday and 12 related deaths.<br />''<br />''There are 23037 active cases in the state and 204 among them are in ICUs. Bengaluru Urban district topped the list of Covid cases with 2004 persons testing positive yesterday followed by Kalburgi with 159, Mysuru with 114 and Udupi with 115 cases.<br />''<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The positivity rate has started climbing since March 7th from 0.9 percent to 2.89 percent yesterday. </span><br />
