<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has called upon people in the state to show solidarity in lighting the lamp at nine O'clock tonight for nine minutes to symbolize our passage from darkness to light. The lighting of light, he added, is a sign of unity in our war against the corona virus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He however advised people to ensure social distancing while lighting the lamp. On the other hand Karnataka Power Corporation has clarified that while switching off the light tonight, not to switch off refrigerators, fans and other electrical devices. The release issued by the Corporation has assured that essential care is taken to manage the grid during the switch off.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that in view of the lockdown, the second trip of Yesvanthpur-Howrah bi-weekly parcel express train carrying five parcel vans left from Yeshvanthpur in Bengaluru yesterday afternoon. It consisted of 69,355 kgs of essential commodities like medicines, eggs, fruits and auto parts. Two more trips to Howrah in Kolkata are planned on April 8th and 11th.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The train will load more essential goods enroute to Howrah. The South Western Divisional Railway Manager Ashok Kumar has said that one more parcel Express special train is leaving to Gorakhpur via Patna and Chennai and called upon industrial houses, NGOs and civic groups to utilize the service.</span><br />
