<span style="color: #222222;">The mortal remains of the Medical College student Naveen Shekharappa Gyana Goudar, who was killed in war-torn Ukraine, arrived at the Kempegowda Internation Airport (KIA) in Bengaluru at 3.30 AM yesterday. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, received the mortal remains at the airport. Later the body was taken to his native place Chellagari in Ranebennur Taluk of Haveri district. Mr. Bommai attended the last rites at Chellagari village. After the final rituals, the parents of Naveen have donated the body to a private medical college in Davengare for medical education and research.<br />''<br />''In a letter to the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that bringing back the body of Navven to India was no less than a miracle, and Karnataka is thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making it happen. Naveen was killed in Kharkiv city when he stepped out of the metro underground tunnel, where he and his friends were taking shelter, to get food from a supermarket on the morning of 1st March. Naveen's body was shifted to Poland with the help of Indian Embassy and from there brought to Bengaluru via Dubai.</span><br />
