Karnataka CM asks governor to convene session from June 2

The Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa met Governor H R Bharadwaj on Wednesday with a request to convene both Houses of Legislature from June 2 to urgently pass the full Budget.Speaking to the media persons in Bangalore the Chief Minister said the Governor asked him to wait till Central Government replies to the Report sent by him. When asked whether the Speaker will be changed in the background of Supreme Court strictures, the Chief Minister ruled out any change. Yeddyurappa also said that Prime Minister and Home Minister have assured him that no decision that could be considered unconstitutional will be taken by them on Governor’s report.
