Civic body elections are being held in Belagavi, Hubballi- Dharwad and Kalaburagi City Corporations today in Karnataka. Along with these, by-polls are also being held in few other urban local bodies. The polling began at 7 a.m. for 252 wards across seven urban local bodies is progressing peacefully. There are 1,316 candidates in fray.<br />''<br />''The polling percentage in Hubballi-Dharwad stood at 18.18 per cent and in Belagavi it was 15.71 per cent till 11 a.m. The polling percentage in Kalaburgi is yet to be known. In Belagavi, elections are being held in 58 wards, in Hubballi-Dharwad 82 wards and in Kalburgi 55 wards.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Apart from these elections are being held in 31 wards of Doddaballapur City Municipal Council, 23 in Tarikere, two in Bidar and one in Bhadravathi City Municipal Council.
