The BJP in Karnataka led by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has decided to display their show of strength before the President and demand the recall of the State Governor. Following the special report, sent by Governor H R Bhardwaj to the Centre, the State Chief Minister today held several meetings with the Council of Ministers and MLA's. BJP senior leader Vankaiya Naidu, State Incharge party representative Dharmendra Pradhan also addressed the legislative party meeting and resolved to seek removal of the present governor.Meanwhile, the State Cabinet has decided to hold the Legislative Session from June 2 for ten days. Briefing the media persons after the meeting, State Law Minister Suresh Kumar said the Cabinet decision will be sent to the Governor for his acceptance. He informed that Governor has not responded to the Cabinet decision to hold Assembly session.AIR correspondent reports the delegation of MLA 's from Karnataka BJP left for New Delhi today and are likely to meet the Prime Minister today evening and the President tomorrow.Meanwhile, the CPI(M) today demanded resignation of Karnataka Chief Minister B.S Yeddyurappa in the wake of the Supreme Court Judgement quashing disqualification of the 16 MLAs in the Assembly by the Speaker. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, Party General Secretary Prakash Karat said the judgement shows how through manipulation and illegal moves, these MLAs were disqualified. He said that Yeddyurappa government has lost all legitimacy and should resign forthwith. Mr Karat, however, said that the party is also against any move to use article 356 in the state.
