Karnataka BJP crisis resolved; claims Yeddyurappa

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, facing demands from dissidents to step down, today claimed that everything has been resolved. Mr Yeddyurappa, who was in Delhi to meet the Central leadership on the issue, was talking to reporters before leaving for Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu. He said, the BJP government in Karnataka will complete its full term.<br/><br/>In an interview to a TV channel, Mr. Yeddyurappa blamed the dissidents for shifting focus from relief work to the politics . He said the people he trusted did not support him . <br/><br/>Meanwhile, dissident BJP leader in Karnataka Janardhana Reddy has maintained that there is no change in their demand for change of leadership and expressed hope that the party would take a good decision in a day or two. He was talking to reporters in Bangalore today. Mr. Reddy, who came this morning after a series of meetings with BJP central leadership in Delhi, dismissed talk of any compromise formula to resolve the crisis. To a question about the Chief Minister's claim that the crisis has been resolved, he said that they have placed the demands before the high command.<br/><br/>Ruling out possibility of change in the leadership, the BJP high command discussed a compromise formula last evening to ensure smooth functioning of the state government.
