Karnataka Assembly Session begins amidst opposition allegations

The Governor’s address to the Joint Session of Karnataka legislature was stalled by the Opposition which was demanding for resignation of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa facing charges of corruption and nepotism. When the Opposition did not relent to take their seats, the Governor announced the speech as tabled in the House. Thereafter the Speaker adjourned the House for tomorrow. Speaking to the media persons later, the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, Siddaramaiah informed that they will move a special adjournment motion tomorrow on the floor of the House against Land scam and other charges being faced by the BJP Government in Karnataka.
