Karnataka Assembly and Council Sessions will begin today for a period of nine working days. Slated to be a stormy session, the Opposition is inclined on raising issues of corruption, drought and non-appointment of Lokayuktha. It is Sadanand Gowda’s maiden session as Chief Minister.AIR Correspondent adds that the Bellary election where both BJP and Congress fared badly, is also likely to play a part in the session. On the first day today, tributes will be paid to the departed members of the House and those who won national awards will be complimented.
